Torqeedo Ultralight 403A - 403AC - 1103AC
The new ultralight 1 HP engine, a favorite of professional fishermen, takes you to the best bottom and leaves you with your hands free to catch the fish. Torqeedo engineers have equipped this new model with a new fastening system that mounts on the back of any fishing kayak. The Ultralight equipped with this robust, practical and universal fastener, offers a great autonomy to be able to fish longer. In addition, the support is much simpler to assemble and handle, and is quickly disassembled and stored.
Fishing enthusiasts have the choice between two batteries of 320 or 915 Wh depending on their needs and the type of kayak.
Ultralight 403 A – The advantages:
- Total weight 8.8 kg with battery
- Built-in 320 Wh high capacity lithium battery
- Range of 35 km at low revs (also depending on the type of boat)
- Fully waterproof (IP67)
- Accurate calculation of the remaining distance by GPS
- Solar charging, also along the way
Ultralight 403 AC – The advantages:
- Total weight 11.0 kg with battery
- Built-in 915 Wh high capacity lithium battery
- Range of 100 km at low revs (also depending on the type of boat)

Autonomy and speed - Notes
In Archimedean mode, the required engine power rises to the speed of power three, i.e. to double its speed on the water, it is necessary to multiply the power by eight.
In return, it is enough to slightly reduce the speed to increase the autonomy significantly.
The Ultralight's on-board computer continuously calculates the remaining range from the engine consumption parameters, battery state of charge and background speed transmitted by GPS, and displays the remaining remote in real time on the engine screen and on the TorqTrac app for Smartphones.
