Flexible system sizing
Solar electricity today, tomorrow and beyond, for optimum power supply
A photovoltaic system equipped with an appropriate storage system is as individual as the electricity consumed and the household of those who use it.
Whatever the need - the growing family, the electric car to be charged or the garage to be turned into a workshop - connecting up to three high-voltage batteries means that all consumer devices can be supplied with solar electricity, whether the sun is shining or not.
New installation: photovoltaic system with storage system
A storage system makes users independent of traditional electricity distributors and rising energy costs. Thanks to high-voltage technology, storage systems equipped with Sunny Boy Storage are particularly efficient and easy to install.
Modernization: photovoltaic system with storage system
To increase the amount of self-generated solar energy used in the home, the existing photovoltaic system can be retrofitted with a complete storage system by adding just a few additional components. The homeowner reduces the amount of electricity drawn from the grid, thereby lowering his electricity bill.
Extension: adapting a storage system to growing needs
Multistring technology allows up to three high-voltage batteries to be connected to Sunny Boy Storage at any one time. This means the operator can gradually expand his storage system to suit his specific needs.
Reliable energy supply
Reliable energy supply, even in the event of grid failure
- The integrated Secure Power Supply back-up function supplies the various electrical appliances manually from the battery, even in the event of a grid failure
- An optional automatic transfer switch can be added for complete household power supply on all three line conductors from the battery and photovoltaic system in the event of a grid failure
- A maximum output of 8 kW in back-up power mode is sufficient to supply all common electrical appliances
- 10-year warranty
Its high IP65 protection class means it can withstand the harshest environmental conditions, and can even be installed outdoors.
