With the development of the energy storage market, traditional grid-connected inverters have been unable to meet customer needs.
Depending on the different application scenarios, there is a need for both grid-connected and off-grid functions, particularly in the domestic energy storage market. In both grid-connected and off-grid states, the inverter must supply energy to the load.
It enables users to generate their own energy, to achieve certain economic benefits.
When solar energy is sufficient, the inverter draws power from the PV station to supply the consumers, and the remaining power will charge the batteries. The inverter automatically feeds the battery charge.
When the battery's energy is depleted, the inverter draws power from the grid, supplies the consumers and recharges the battery.
This on/off grid inverter can be installed indoors or outdoors.

New from Sermatec: AC Coupling
Maximize self-consumption, even with older systems
The Sermatec hybrid inverter is connected in parallel to the grid inverter. Photovoltaic energy is first used to power loads, then to charge the battery, and any excess photovoltaic energy can be fed back into the grid.
View daily and total consumption status
You can view consumption from your system
There's an asymmetry between our electricity needs and the output of our solar system.
As you can see, thehybrid inverter uses batteries to store unused production during the day (red line down).
This means you can benefit in the morning and evening from the energy produced throughout the day (red line up).
The yellow highlight indicates energy production via solar panels.
Electricity consumption from the grid is shown in blue (blue line down).
Electricity generated by the panels is fed back into the grid (blue line up).
We'll look at consumption over a full day
At 04:00 we use the public grid for our energy needs.
At 10:00 am: the panels produce 3002 W and the batteries recharge.
At 14:35: We produce (3170 W), the battery consumes 10.60 W and we inject 2665 W into the public grid.
At 9:00 p.m.: The battery is used to meet our energy needs.

Customizable battery recharge range
At 8 a.m. on 20/09, the battery is at 30% of its charge capacity, and the inverter will start recharging the battery. Recharging takes place at times that can be set from the inverter, so you can choose the time slots when you decide to recharge the batteries; once at 100%, the inverter no longer sends energy to the battery, but sends unused energy to the public grid. From 7pm onwards, the battery begins to discharge. We then use the energy from the battery to meet our energy needs.
