The Peak Power Pack is a complete replacement for lead-acid batteries in applications where high currents occur over short periods. Designed primarily for caravan towing vehicles, it features an integrated charger that enables charging from the car's electrical system during the caravan journey. In this way, the pack is fully charged on arrival at the campsite. If required, charging can be carried out using the adapter supplied for connection to the mains. Charging is also possible from a solar panel.
Lightweight and easy to install
Ideal for mobile applications
Fully protected against misuse
Excellent performance for solar and other applications, where deep discharges and insufficient recharging can rapidly damage lead-acid batteries.
Output 1: high-current output for motorized maneuvering systems and high-power applications
- Application for motorized caravan maneuvering systems: automatic shutdown of high-power output, 30 minutes after activation.
- Other applications: high-power output can be switched to "always on" mode.
- Short-circuit proof Protection against excessive battery discharge
Output 2: auxiliary output for low DC loads (not available on 8Ah model).
-Always on
-Short-circuit proof
-Protection against excessive battery discharge
Input 1: solar charger / multi-function vehicle battery input
Voltage and current set for safe charging of the lithium-ion battery. Almost any electrical power source can be connected to this input, as long as it is between 11V < Vin
Input 2: second input for connecting a power supply
A 3A power supply is included (connect to 100/240 VAC mains).
Fast charging possible through input 1 (high-current output).
A battery charger or inverter/charger can be connected to high-power output for fast charging. Maximum charging current 40A, and maximum charging voltage 14V.
Storage mode
Reduces the current drawn from the battery to almost zero. This function prevents damage to the battery from excessive discharges during long periods of storage.
