"Victron high precision solar battery controller "
The Victron BMV-700 series battery monitors calculate ampere-hour consumption and battery charge level. Consumption is calculated by the flow of current into and out of the battery. Microprocessor-programmed algorithms enable precise control of battery consumption.
Description
Standard information and alarms
- State of charge (%).
- Consumption Ampere-hours (Ah).
- Battery voltage (V).
- Battery charge/discharge current (A).
- Autonomy prediction according to consumption.
- Visual and audible alarm: over- and undervoltage, and/or battery state of charge.
- Programmable alarm
The BMV-702: features an additional input that can be programmed to measure
- voltage (of a second battery),
- temperature
- median voltage.
BMV 700HS: Voltage range from 60 to 385 VDC
Adapter ("prescaler") not required. suitable for systems with negative ground only (battery controller not isolated from {linkpopup id='shunt'}).
Ultra-high-resolution, low-cost controller
- Highest resolution: 10 mA (0.01 A) with 500 A shunt.
- Can be used with 50, 60 or 100 mV shunts, at currents from 100 to 1000 A.
- Lowest current consumption: 4 mA @12 V and 3 mA @ 24 V.
- Easy to connect: supplied with shunt, 10 meters of RJ 12 UTP cable and fused power lead for "+" connection .
- Simple installation: separate front cover for rounded part; ring for rearmounting and screws for front mounting.
- Wider supply voltage range: 9.5 - 95 VDC range without adapter (60-385 VDC for BMV-702HS)
- Communication port (Isolated RS232 interface required for connection to a computer)
