Perfect chargers for all batteries
Skylla TG chargers are compact and lightweight, thanks to HF technology. Charging voltage is precisely adjustable to suit all types of battery, open or sealed. Maintenance-free sealed batteries require particularly precise charging to ensure a long service life. Any over-voltage will result in excessive gassing, followed by drying-out and premature failure.
3-stage regulated charging
The three charging stages of Skylla TG chargers are precisely controlled by a microprocessor. The IUoUo charging curve ensures the fastest, safest charge for all battery types. Absorption time can be set by switch. The "Intelligent Startup" function avoids having to start a full charge cycle on a battery that has already been charged.
Can be used as a power supply
Thanks to their perfectly stabilized output voltage, Skylla TG chargers can be used as power supplies, without the need for batteries or capacitor banks.
Two outputs for charging 2 battery banks (24V model only)
All TG chargers have 2 isolated outputs. The second output, for maintenance charging of a starter or auxiliary battery, is limited to around 4 amps at a slightly lower voltage.
For longer battery life: temperature compensation
Every Skylla TG charger comes with a battery temperature sensor which automatically reduces the charging voltage as the battery temperature rises. This function is essential to avoid overcharging maintenance-free batteries.
Battery voltage sensor
To further improve charging quality, a device for direct measurement of battery terminal voltage compensates for voltage losses in the main wiring.
