Victron Control MPPT display for MPPT controllers with VE.Direct

The new MPPT control is mounted in the familiar BMV-700 series housing, while maintaining a consistent, professional look for your panels and monitoring system equipment.

Installation

Communication cable

Connect the MPPT Control to the BlueSolar MPPT Charge Controller using a VE.Direct cable. Note that this cable is not included and must be purchased separately.

Power cable with built-in fuse

Connection of the supplied power cable is only necessary if the MPPT used is an MPPT 75/50, 100/50 or 150/35, and if its serial number begins with SCC01. These older versions switch off at night. In this case, use the fuse-protected power cable to supply the MPPT Control directly from the battery. In this way, the MPPT Control continues to be powered while the MPPT is switched off, and the latest information received concerning the status, history and parameters of the MMPT can be viewed when the sun is down.
Connection of the power cable is not necessary for all other models, neither for the SCC02 version nor for later versions of the three models mentioned.

Wall-mounted frame

Optional wall-mounted enclosures are available for easy wall mounting of the MPPT Control, instead of flush mounting through a panel.
