What can I expect from my GEL lead-acid batteries?
GEL lead batteries only need to be discharged at 50% of their capacity on a daily basis. For example, if your fleet has a capacity of 4.8kWh, care should be taken not to consume more than 2.4kWh.
In order to comply with the manufacturer's recommendations, the majority of GEL lead-acid batteries can only withstand faster discharges in 10 hours. If you have a fleet of 4 batteries of 100Ah in 48v, and therefore a total capacity of 4.8kWh, you should not consume more than 480W. Instantaneous photovoltaic production is to be added to this value. A slight margin is however to be expected, indeed a lead battery supports faster discharges over a short period.
What can I expect from my Lithium batteries?
Generally speaking, lithium batteries can be discharged much faster than stationary lead-acid batteries. They also make it possible to use more of their capacity. It is common to be able to unload them in an hour and be able to use up to 90% of their capacity.
How to know the capacity of your battery?
This is expressed in ampere hours, it is the product of the multiplication of the capacity (Ah) of the battery by the voltage (V) of it:
Example : 4 batteries of 100Ah of 12V mounted in series will give a voltage of 48V. These batteries will have a total capacity of 4.8kWh
48V * 100Ah = 4800 Wh = 4.8 kWh
How do I calculate my battery requirement?
In order to make your life easier, we have developed a tool to size your autonomous solar kit and the size of your battery park.

All cables and connections are pre-wired in our workshops. Our kits are very easily mountable by 'beginners' in electricity. For those who have some reservations about the technical side, our technical team assists you and helps you every day from 8am to 5pm.

This wind turbine weighs only 8.5 Kg. Compact and lightweight, so it does not require a heavy and expensive mast. It is maintenance-free and produced even in low winds. It rotates very silently and cuts itself in strong winds.
Adaptable very easily on an already existing solar installation, the body is made of aluminum alloy.
The wind turbine produces energy with a wind from 15 km / h, this current is regulated by a charge regulator provided, it is then stored in 24 volt batteries (not included).
These batteries are connected to a voltage converter (not included) that will transform this current into 220 volts (standard domestic outlet).

Gel batteries are waterproof batteries: no maintenance, no addition of distilled water.
Enhanced safety compared to open lead batteries.
A gel battery can withstand 50% discharge and regain its nominal capacity if the discharged holding time is short. This series has a longer discharge time compared to other batteries. Its special plate design increases battery life and especially in warmer temperatures.
A separator within the battery improves its performance. It also has a longer shelf life.
